This was more than nice.
A few weeks ago, we were invited to feature the opening of F1 Hotel Manila’s limited time buffet, Luzviminda 2. Being guests of the hotel, they generously put us up in one of their best rooms, the Fort Suite. With a published nightly rate of PHP 12,600, to say that the room was nice would be a massive understatement. It was kingly. As much as Ren and I love traveling and staying in hotels, we never spend more than USD 100 on a room, so to stay in a suite as posh as this was a rare treat.
In all honesty, the invite to sample the buffet was sweet enough, but to be given an overnight staycation in a room like the Fort Suite really put it over the top.
Published Rate: PHP 12,600

Maximum Capacity: Two adults, two kids

Living room with work station, flat screen TV, free wifi, ref, and mini-bar. I told you it was more than nice.
Fully amenitized bathroom with bidet and rain shower head
Our ridiculously comfortable bed. Getting under the sheets of a freshly made hotel bed is one of life’s greatest small pleasures. There was a flat screen TV in the bedroom as well.
A stay at F1 Hotel Manila entitles guests to a full service breakfast buffet. Here’s just a fraction of the delicious dishes they served that morning.
Not too big, but with a pleasant view and good light streaming in through the windows. There were a few exercise machines, treadmills, cycling machines, a stepper, and free weights. Ren and I really enjoyed working out here.
Each of the treadmills had cable TV. Cool huh?
Eyeing this sexy chick running on the treadmill, I told her: “Hey baby, I’m staying at the Fort Suite upstairs. Wanna come with?” She did. 😉
Adult and kiddie pools with a view overlooking the BGC. I forgot to take a picture of it, but at the bottom of this picture is a poolside bar serving cocktails and food.
Lap pool. We didn’t have too much time between events, so Ren and I opted to work out instead of swim in the pools. As you can probably guess, both of these pool pictures were taken from the gym.
And besides, with an extended check-out time of 5PM, we wanted to spend as much time as we could in that kingly suite. Can you blame us? 😉
Apart from the suite and food, what really impressed me about this hotel was the service. Everyone, and I do mean everyone, from the front desk to the bell hops to the wait staff, was courteous and very accommodating. Even the service people whom we ran into in the hallways were helpful, and it was mostly unsolicited help too. It just made the entire stay so much more enjoyable, leaving us with a lasting, highly positive impression of the hotel.
Centrally located in the BGC just a stone’s throw away from commercial hubs like Bonifacio High Street and Serendra, F1 Hotel Manila is a great place to enjoy a weekend staycation with the family or with a significant other. Relaxation mavens will be pleased to know that there’s a spa here as well. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use it during our stay, but maybe we will next time.
Thank you so much again to F1 Hotel Manila and the entire Luzvminda 2 team for having us. And a special thanks goes out to Spanky Enriquez for the invite. It was great to finally meet you.
Thinking back on this staycation, the experience was more than just nice. It was perfect.
