Big Better Burgers’ Bacon BBQ
PHP 151 (1/4 lb) / PHP 179 (1/3 lb) – Grilled beef burger with bacon, grilled onions, and barbecue sauce
Already tired from several hours of Christmas shopping, we realized that we couldn’t buy everything at Gateway Mall, so we had to make an impromptu trip to Robinson’s Magnolia. It was past noon at that point, and we were both hungry, but despite the abundance of food choices at Gateway, we chose to endure our hunger a little longer and have lunch at Robinson’s instead.
Why? Big Better Burgers.
Ren and I are partial to smokey, char-grilled burgers, which is why we were quick to make this crosstown trip. BBB does them very well. Before today, we had tried just one of their burgers, the Mushroom Loco, but it left a lasting impression on us. This Bacon BBQ was (almost) as memorable. Served with two strips of crisp bacon, grilled onions, and barbecue sauce, it didn’t have any extraneous toppings, no gimmicks. Just a few choice ingredients that complemented each other nicely. And of course, that smokiness. 😈
At just PHP 179 for a 1/3 pound patty, you can chalk up this Bacon BBQ as another FTW burger for BBB. It’s definitely worth the trip.
Verdict: 3.75 / 5
