Beef Burger: Cyma’s Greek Wagyu Burger

Cyma’s Greek Wagyu Burger

PHP 390 – Freshly ground handmade Wagyu Brahman beef patties, peppered feta cheese, tzatziki, lettuce, arugula, and tomato on a toasted bun served with Greek roasted potatoes.

Chef Rob Goco is the Midas of food. Everything he touches just turns to gold. A massive fan of his Charlie’s Grind & Grill burgers, there was little doubt in my mind that this Cyma burger would turn me into a groupie as well.

Dubbed a “Greek” Wagyu burger, it was topped with feta cheese, tzatziki, and fresh greens, giving it that sharp, summery taste characteristic of many Greek dishes. In fact, if I had to imagine before today what a Greek-inspired burger would taste like, then this would be it. Bright and fresh-tasting, it just made me feel good eating it.

Best of all, the Wagyu patty was treated with respect. Thick, juicy, and loosely packed, its seasoning and handling were kept to a minimum, allowing you to really taste and appreciate the quality of the meat and the freshness of all the ingredients. So good.

Verdict: 3.75 / 5
